|

Anyone attending any of the shows this summer care to share the setlists? Cranes played with The Cure in Italy last night and I found a fragmented setlist on Chain of Flowers:
Cloudless, Everywhere, Shining Road (?), Night and Day (no idea what this is - In the Night maybe?), Reverie (maybe?), some "newer" songs, Jewel.
Can anyone fill in the blanks?
I'd also love to see the setlist from the Bush Hall show in August when the time comes. According to their Facebook page, they're going to play some Self Non Self tracks! |

Hi pills23,
In Italy we played:
Cloudless
Everywhere
Shining Road
Pale Blue Sky
Reverie
Feathers
Wires
Jewel
Far Away
Adrift
We will be playing some older songs that have not been played for a long time at Bush Hall. We're not completely decided on what as yet and want to keep them a surprise for the show.
What would you, or anyone else, like us to play? All suggestions will be looked at and considered even if they are not played.
Hope you are well.

Thanks for the response, Paul! Looks like a nice set.
I'm in the US so I won't be there unfortunately, but here's some early tracks off the top of my head that you don't play anymore that I'd love to hear:
Joy Lies Within
Heaven or Bliss
Living and Breathing
Tomorrow's Tears
Slide
September
It would be great if this show was recorded for those of us unable to attend (hint, hint...).
Thanks,
Steve |

Thanks for the list Steve.
These have now been added to the list and I hear what you say!
We had 45 minutes in Italy so sometimes it's tricky to choose what to play. Tried to get a good balance of old classics and new classics for Cranes fans and for people that hadn't heard us before.
Thanks again for your input.

Great, thanks! Should I start booking my flight now then?
Seems like you guys did a good job with the Italy mix. Just saw a couple of clips on youtube - you guys sounded great! |

Bit late.... I know!
Here are my suggestions:
Slow Song
Brighter
Cloudless (perhaps a bit of a new version...)
The Moon City
And would it be very strange to suggest Vegetate?
And indeed Pills.... We would REALLY love to see this live material released through the DADA site.
I wish you all a beautiful summertime

I think FOCUS BREATHE and Vegetate (as hans suggests) would be very nice played live! |

Thank you for all suggestions.
Like I said, they have all been noted and I cannot say for sure which ones we'll play as yet, but some of these older songs will indeed be played.
You input and continual support is very much appreciated by all of us!
Thank you. _________________ **They are not my guitars.... They are my children** |

I don't remember Vegetate ever being performed live. If it was then it would have been around 1986 or 7. I haven't heard Focus Breathe performed live since the very early nineties, that would be a trip down Memory Lane (or even Credibilty St.)
Also I think Heaven or Bliss only ever got one public airing and that was at the Long Beach show of the Cure Wish tour in '92 (turn the feedback up and call me 'Susan' if I'm wrong). |

But, Darren, I didn't think you'd heard ANYTHING since 1992 down to the fact of you being deaf. Pardon? You heard. _________________ **They are not my guitars.... They are my children** |

We're just on the ferry going across to Ireland for the Electric Picnic show. Was a good show in London last night. Matt, Mark and Tin Damiels were all in attendance. _________________ **They are not my guitars.... They are my children** |

Hi All,
Just wanted to say what a fantastic gig that was in London last night. 2 hours, and 3 encores - that's the way to do it! What a brilliant night.
I briefly spoke to Paul before the gig too - once I was vaguely confident it was him! Didn't want to make a complete fool of myself! Really nice guy
Now to create a playlist based on that set list... |
