Hi all. Record your own cover of a Cranes track. No matter if you're only good with pots and pans or a flute. Record an mp3, or if you can't, PM me and send it off by post. Promise that Avonlady and I will pick the coolest track and will hand it over to Ali to get her opinion about it for you. Send in your tracks before the 1st of May. The ' winner' will hear from us before the end of May! We hope that some of you will participate! Get cracking... |

Me to. Although my musical talents probably fall to singing in the car, (and if I'm really daring) with the window rolled down. |

Ok ok. the arm's been twisted Send me your own track on cd or put it up in a link online, I'll download it all and will make a compilation cd of all the tracks, after which I promise I'll send it off to Alison. Ermmm....it would be kinda cool if at least 5 people participate I think and let's make the 1st of JULY the ultimate date before which you have to send in your stuff.
COME ON AND BOOGIE. |

Just noticed I've left the rough vocal in the mix at the end - which goes out of tune - sorry kids
that'll teach me to leave it to last minute.
I'll do a minor tweak & repost it.
Also noticed I'm totally hogging this thread - I'll shut up now _________________ There are times when I am quietly impressed by my powers of forgetfullness. |

haven't finished mine yet -always bloody working!!!!
listened to "dead girl on the pavements" version of Septmeber though
Cool name. . Is my one of my most precious Cranes records -
love the Cure sounding guitar at the end but still trying to place who the
vocals remind me of. Need a few more listens but really impressed you
made the effort. Am gonna try and finish mine tonight if not it will be
fashionably late!! _________________ "Through dangers untold & hardships unnumbered - I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City-To take back the child that you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours and my Kingdom is as great -You have no power over me! " |

I finally listened to the September cover. The vocals are a bit too "goth" for my taste, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. The music was great! |
