LEAST favourite Cranes songs at the mo...

Fuse - "Pillow Panther"
Self-Non-Self - "Nothing In The Middle, Nothing At The End"
Wings of Joy - "Adoration" (sorry!)
Forever - "Adrift" (excellent but personally overplayed)
Loved - "Shining Road" (again, fantastic song but personally overplayed - sexy video though)
La Tragedie d'Oreste et Electre - "Comme Je Suis Libre"
Population 4 - "Angel Bell"
EP Collection, Vols 1 & 2 - "Dada 331"
Future Songs - "The Maker of Heavenly Trousers" (song as bad as the title - sorry!)
Cranes; Live In Italy - "E.G. Shining"
Particles and Waves - "Here Comes The Snow"

No, no. I am a massive Cranes fan! (have been for 14 years!) I just wanted to give a bit of a balance to the 'Most Favourite Song' thread. I didn't say about which Cranes songs you HATED, just the ones that maybe you liked less.

Phew. I mentioned it once but think I got away with it. Smile

I gotta disagree here. I love that song.
First song on P and W that I heard on their Myspace page before CD even came out in the USA.

Great song in my book.

although I don't like that distorted xylophone effect on Vanishing Point.

The song I feel would have been much smoother without that noise effect....PLINK, PLUNK, PLINK.....or something like that....that should have hit the edit room floor.....other then that, that song is great too.

I have to say I think it's splitting hairs to have a least favorite moment on Fuse, Tragedie or Self Non Self [the latter surely is a perfect listening experience from start to End!]
The only album tracks I can think of that stand out as lowpoints are Eight [goes nowhere, does nothing - at least they didn't do it for a whole EP like Current93] and Fourteen ["Getty? ...No, no!"]. I'm staggered that anyone could cite Angel Bell as a lowpoint.
Then again I think the entire Particles & Waves album is a waste of time. And the new one...at least it has more melody/more musicality, but it should have been better than it was.
