Please let us know what are the three last song you heard and enjoyed (I know it's not very original but it might help people to discover new artists.)

"Marian" by Nouvelle Vague
"Humble me" by Norah Jones
"Butterly Dance" by Diary of Dreams

VAST - Lost (NUDE album)
Levitation - Even When Your Eyes Are Open (Meanwhile Gardens album)
Morrissey - I Have Forgiven Jesus (You Are The Quarry album)

I recommend VAST and Levitation to anyone

Also Slowdive have released a anthology compilation , there is nothing new on it but its worth having Smile

I know they are not 3 songs but am useless at being that concise:

I second BONEMACHINE'S recommendation on VAST -am off to see them for the 3rd time tomorrow night at LA2.

Currently listening to:

SAINT EVE - electronic weird dirty diva stuff

NICK CAVES new album - Abbatoir Blues and Lyre of Orpheous

I AM X - Kiss & Swallow (debut from Chris Corner of Sneaker Pimps)
cannot rate above album enough it is just electronic/emotional genius.

JANE SIBERRY - ANTHOLOGY (ghostly folk/soft electonic avante garde)
notebly known for Crow soundtrack song : 'It Can't Rain All the Time'

Lot's AND anything by:
COCTEAU TWINS, VNV NATION, GOLDFRAPP and BJORK

Lately I've been listening to Treasure. Guess I listen to a lot of Cocteau Twins generally. Also been listening to Loved a fair bit. Must be feeling nostalgic lately.

On the flip side, I've been listening to Andrea Parker's DJ Kicks, Autechre's Amber and a bit of Thievery Corporation. And ok I'll admit it...the Streets. Razz

I love everything she did (Mazzy Star and her vocal guests on the Death in vegas & Chemical Bros records).

My fave is "killing smile" (with Death in vegas)

**hum** You'd forget to mention her contribution with Vetiver (also with Devendra Banhart on banjo)... Smile

Say, everyone is posting loads of stuff, but are they listening to it ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!?? Surprised

I think we're supposed to say what we're listening to right at the moment, or not...? Smile

Chez moi it's Antony and the Johnsons with 'What can I say', a duet with Rufus Wainwright on Antony's stunning Very Happy album 'I am a Bird now'...
